In June 2024, Lincolnshire competed in the East Midlands inter-counties tournament against Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire. Coached by Russell and Helen, the team had a challenging start, losing the first quarter 19-2 to Nottinghamshire. The level of competitiveness was a surprise to the squad and they soon stepped up their game as the second quarter began, narrowly losing the final 3 quarters 18-16, and winning the final quarter 6-4. The team faced Leicestershire next and were raring to go. The score was 18-12 at half time and the team were matching their opposition, but a disastrous second half led to Leicestershire winning the game by double digits. Our third game was against Northamptonshire and the team led at half time 15-10, and this could have been even higher as the team dominated. With the score tied 25-25 with 40-seconds remaining, Northamptonshire took the lead 27-25. We were desperate to inbound the ball with 30-seconds to go but a combination of the floor official not rushing to allow us to pass the ball and a Northamptonshire sub meant that we didn't have the opportunity to play due to a rolling clock not being stopped. The disappointment of the conclusion of this game influenced the start of our final game against Derbyshire, which was immediately after. Derbyshire were keen to win the game, knowing that a victory would potentially lead to a three-way tie to decide who won overall.

Lincolnshire were incredible and often matched their opposition for large part of each game. The team had little National League experience and competed against other players who were all highly experienced in these sort of situations. The team should be proud of their accomplishments and will take a huge amount from their experiences at the event.
